Marion Soil & Water Conservation District

Company Description

Marion SWCD is here to help you protect your natural resources investments. Our friendly conservation planners work with you to: apply for funding; assess and address your concerns; develop plans to use less water, manage mud and manure, help pollinators, conserve and maintain soil, water, and habitat; and connect you with other sources of support. We provide learning opportunities for producers including tours, talks, and online resources. We invite you to help steer the course of conservation by serving as an elected director. Directors spend an average of six hours per month for four year terms. Reach out and get to know us better!

Our mission is to partner with people in support of thriving lands, clean water, and healthy habitats. We do this through planning, technical assistance, funding, and education.
